Recently HP releases its new range of pavilion laptops namely dm4, dv5, dv6 and dv7 series in a completely new look and format. These notebooks are successors of the premium Apple MacBook Pro range.
All the notebooks come with aluminium furnished chasis which is in boom these days and come with power packed graphics.
If you want more portability , you may go for Hp dm4 series laptop . It comes with a power packed mobile Core i5 Processor and with inbuilt 3G services for higher Mobility and also with Storage Options available upto 640Gb RAID or 128GB SSD.
This Laptop has a power backup with 6-8 Hours depending upon the battery used , i.e. 6 Cell or 9 cell as both option are available.
The screen is a 14'' LED backlit display and it comes with a non-backlit chickklet style standard keyboard.
The graphics options are available up to 1GB dedicated VRAM from ATI or standard on-board Intel Graphics
On the other hand the dv5 series is a bit inclined towards Home use as it has less mobility features as compared to dm4 as it lacks the in-built 3G card and also less battery life (up to 4 hrs).
But this dv5 comes with a 14.5'' LED Back lit display and options of quad core Intel i7 Processor.
The dv5 also possess a heavy VRAM(Upto 1GB ATI Dedicated) and different color options too.
Both the laptops come with an internal Hp light Scribe drive and are available in different colors.
The price of HP DV5 starts from 650$ and HP DM4 starts from 730$. Both are expected to released till 29th May, 2010.
